The importance of learner-centered approach in vocabulary development

چکیده
This research article discusses opportunities to develop lexical competencies in learning English with the students of higher education institutions specialized language based on a learner-centered approach. Pedagogical experiment was conducted at three Uzbekistan: Jizzakh State Institute, Termez University, Uzbekistan University World Languages 1st and 2nd year bachelor's degree. 463 from participated experiment. At first point study used questionnaire developed by author collect information about approaches process universities Uzbekistan. The survey helped determine extent which all groups autonomous, independent skills formation self-critical assessment skills. averages collected through were analyzed using inferential statistical methods. Students experimental group lesson plans during academic year. According results study, analysis showed that work carried out level effectiveness effective.
